How to get your dBAdvantage Card
When you buy one of the following products from Cirrus*, you’ll automatically get a dBAdvantage Card included with the equipment when it’s delivered to you:
- Optimus Sound Level Meter or Measurement Kit
- doseBadge Noise Dosimeter Measurement Kit
- Safety Officer’s Noise Measurement Kit (SO product code)
To activate your card, and to get immediate access to the benefits, just open the envelope with your card inside, logon to the Cirrus Website and register. It’s quick and simple to register. You’ll just need your card number and some brief contact details.

1. Availability
The dBAdvantage Card is available to UK end user customers purchasing one of the following products after the 1st September 2013:
Optimus Sound Level Meter or Measurement Kit
doseBadge Noise Dosimeter Measurement Kit
Safety Officer’s Noise Measurement Kit
2. Validity
The dBAdvantage Card must be registered online at the Cirrus Research plc website. Visitwww.soldathq.com/dbadvantage/within 30 days of receipt of the equipment and the card will then be valid for 3 years from that date.
At the end of the 3 year period, the dBAdvantage Card can be extended by purchasing an additional 3 years of cover.
If the card is not registered within 30 days, the recipient must contact Cirrus Research plc customer services on 0845 230 2434.
3. Free product training
During the 3 year validity period of your dBAdvantage Card, you are entitled to one free place, each year, on a Cirrus Product Training Course (CPTC). Please quote your dBAdvantage Card number when making a booking.
Details of the current dates for the CPTC are available on the Cirrus Research website atwww.soldathq.com/training/. Bookings can be made online or by telephone at 0845 230 2434 Option 1.
4. Discounted calibration for your Cirrus noise measurement equipment
You are entitled to a discount of 10% from the cost of the service and calibration of your Cirrus noise measurement equipment, each year, during the validity of your dBAdvantage Card. Please quote your dBAdvantage Card number on any correspondence or paperwork when you send your equipment back to Cirrus.
Please note that this discount is only available for equipment that is sent directly to Cirrus Research plc in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire. The discount is applicable to the cost of the service and calibration of your equipment and excludes any shipping or carriage costs.
5. Access to our Priority Service for Calibration and Servicing of your Cirrus instrument

6. Preferential discounts when you trade-in your old noise measurement equipment against a new Cirrus instrument.
